Winter 2009
Preview
Very soon we'll be announcing the
details of our winter session classes! You can
look forward to: technique-only classes, specialty
classes in improvisation, history, music appreciation
and more! Classes will start the week of
January 12th.
And, we're also thrilled to
announce that we'll be having regular soirees where
student soloists and groups can strut their stuff! We
know there's a ton of talent out there, and there's just
no time in recitals to see it all. Well, here's your
chance! Just email dharlene@haftvadi.com to sign-up!

Generous?
Haft Vadi will be starting a new project for
2009 with the aim of offering dance performances to
various community groups to support their
activities.
Dancers of all levels are
invited to get involved with the troupe.
What's
most important is a desire to be involved in positive
change in the world, a willingness to commit to the
project and to have an open and generous heart.
Contact Dharlene if you are interested. We'll
have one initial meeting at the beginning of January to
decide as a group on rehearsal times, set goals, choose
repertoire and costumes,
etc.

We're gearing up for our seasonal
performances! Khizmet Bellydance is hosting
an amazing gala evening on December 13th, then on
December 17th, come to Haft Vadi for a casual
party with performances! We're all looking forward
to seeing old friends and making many new
ones!

Kick back and shake it up
with old and new friends
 We adore our big gala
recitals but we get so busy with our costumes,
choreography and nerves that we don't have time to
catch up with friends and make new ones. Not to
mention, in this busy season not everyone can make
it on the 13th!
So, Haft Vadi is inviting all the dancers
(and their friends and family) in the region over
to the studio for a casual night of schmoozing and
to perform if the mood strikes. Don't feel like
dancing? No problem, everyone is welcome!
Bring your smiles and maybe a couple snacks if
you'd like!
New and returning students are
welcome to come meet the teachers and register for
the January 2009 session as well!
