Dear Dharlene,
The lengthening of the days has inspired us at Haft Vadi to seek out opportunities for spring renewal, in friendships, in our art and in our training. To that end, we're thrilled to announce a session of tribal style bellydance, an amazing mystical show with Sashar, a short but sweet visit from our great friend Ranya and our new spring schedule!

Tribal Spirit comes to Haft Vadi American Tribal Style Bellydance with the amazing Valizan!
Course description: Tribal 101. Learn American Tribal Style (ATS) bellydance. This is a group improvisational form that creates dance by working with cues for a set palette of moves. In this class you will learn the basic moves of ATS, cueing, as well as formations and other technique.
Valizan says: "I teach ATS because I really like dancing with other people. There is a neat bond that happens when you connect with someone who is dancing with you in the moment. ATS moves people closer to that bond."
There are two chances to study with Valizan: 1. a two-hour intro teaser this Sunday, March 25th 2. an eight week session starting in May
Full details are on the Haft Vadi website.
Let's create unity in dance with Valizan!!!
Valizan's website is still in the future, but in the meantime, you can learn more about him and connect to him on Tribe.com.

Spring 2007 Session at Haft Vadi April 16th - July 7th
The new schedule is now available on our newly revamped (but still a work-in-progress) website.
Highlights of the new session include two levels of drumming, mixed level bellydance combos and a wide range of intro classes to suit your schedule.
We always recommend taking two classes a week, to combine drumming and dancing, or technique with choreography, and to help you do that, we've included a 25%-off coupon at the end of this newsletter. You can get your classes for less than $9 each if you sign up early!
