If you caught Ranya performing at the last IBCC you’ll know what an extraordinary Oriental dance artist she is! And with several new instructional DVDs, Ranya is one of today’s most sought after teachers of Egyptian dance having studied under Yousry Sharif and many other masters of dance throughout the Middle East and U.S. The timing just couldn’t be better to have Ranya kick off BellyUp’s 2010 lineup of most fascinating dance artists today!! Get registered for this super powerhouse of a 1 day intensive with Ranya Renee. We’ll be covering it all from technique, combinations, performance skills, you name it…plus Ranya will be just back fresh from her studies with Mahmoud Reda and she’s keen to share Andalusian technique and combos with us. We’ll also be covering essential technique for Egyptian Oriental dance along with her favourite signature combinations. She’ll focus heavily on theatrical performance and improvisation, exploring different moods and emotional colours to bring interest and fun to your bellydance show. Of course a workshop with Ranya wouldn’t be complete without learning how she’s perfected one of the most captivating shimmies this side of Cairo! Expect alot more to be covered in this well-rounded day of training.

Space is limited to give each student maxium interaction with Ranya and an up close and personal learning environment. Registering now! $175 plus gst. Anyone needing transportation from the hotel to the studio please let me know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange that for you.

BellyUp provides bottled water, power snacks and fruit throughout the day to registered students. Please bring your own lunch to the workshop.
